Tips for Designing Jetfloat-based Docks

The Jetfloat system has a high load capacity and is quite stable, therefore you need not design your application with standard lumber lengths in mind. If you find you do require additional length and/or width, Jetfloat's modular system allows you to add on at any time.

Example: 10' x 40' - wooden structure
Try this: 6.5' or 8' x 40' - Jetfloats

For a main dock we suggest a minimum of 3 units in width if space allows. The minimum width for the Jetfloat system is 2 units. Although some copies of our product allow single unit configurations, we do not recommend or endorse this.

Jetfloat systems should sit in 5-10" of water. As a result, staving the platform off from shore with an existing ramp may be required.

Boat cleats and bumpers are not an essential part of the system but they can be placed at any point along the perimeter of the dock at 20" intervals where two units come together.
